Invisible braces

Invisible braces or lingual braces are braces that are placed on the inner surface of the teeth.  The brace is completely secret to the outside world, which means you get the straight teeth you desire and no one needs to know you are wearing braces. However because the braces are on the inside, your speech will be affected for a few days and the tongue may be sore compared to regular braces.  It is a great system for adult patients who are conscious about the appearance of orthodontic appliances but are not suitable for invisalign. 

As with any brace good oral hygiene is essential to ensure there are no problems with tooth decay or gum problems.
